Overview of WHAT We Do
Christ is calling us all... our job is to listen and follow. This pilgrimage is designed to help 21-30 year old Catholic pilgrims better listen to God in prayer and the interior life, and to help them better prepare to eventually follow Christ into their particular "walk of life" (vocation.)
This is a pilgrimage, not a tour. (That's not to say we won't see Rome's sites - far from it - we'll take Rome's sites in!) Our goal will be to be open to what God has for us. Every day we'll take time for prayer and Mass in specially chosen - even private - sites with special significance to one of the different vocations. As well, every day, we will take time for either a teaching/reflection (on prayer, discernment, or one walk of life), or will have a vocation experience (with a priest, religious community, consecrated, or family). Since the pilgrimage is lead by a couple (with their children present) and two religious priests, pilgrims will see the reality and practicality of each of the walks of life.
Beyond the pilgrimage, we will see all the major sites of Rome and many lesser known ones. (Pilgrimage leaders are either current or former residents of Rome.) We'll enjoy the great art, history, food, coffee, and wine. Heck, we might even end up in some friend's apartment for dinner. Pilgrims will have plenty of free time to explore, pray, tour, shop, etc. Then at night, all willing pilgrims can wind down (actually wine down) at our Roman digs.
